No Screen Recording
SpellType does not need Screen Recording permission and does not take screenshots to provide suggestions.
No writing analytics
The Mac app does not collect writing or content analytics, suggestion history, prompts, or nearby text. Optional product analytics counts active use, suggestions shown, and suggestions accepted.
